GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Provides day-to-day supervision and administration of an outpatient psychiatric clinic while providing certain direct services to persons with mental illness. Oversees clinic operations, staff, budget, service delivery, compliance, and community relationships.
Responsibilities- Manages the annual clinic budget and monitors monthly budget performance.
- Supervises, evaluates, and supports clinic staff, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Oversees daily clinic and facility operations, including purchasing and maintenance.
- Monitors service delivery, utilization, service targets, and performance measures.
- Performs intake evaluations and determines eligibility for services.
- Maintains required documentation and prepares reports as needed.
- Develops relationships with community partners and promotes mental health and substance use services.
- Communicates effectively with consumers, staff, leadership, and the community.
- Ensures compliance with agency policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or another qualified Human Services field.
- Current Texas LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license.
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience, including experience in community mental health or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Valid Texas driver's license, acceptable driving record, and required automobile liability insurance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Four (4) years of full-time administrative and professional experience in a large organization.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
