Job SummaryThe Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) manages clinical trials for patients with lymphoma. This role coordinates trial protocols, ensures patient safety, and collects high-quality data. The CRN acts as a vital bridge between lymphoma patients, oncology physicians, and clinical trial sponsors.
Responsibilities / Job Duties - Patient Management: Screen, recruit, enroll, and educate patients on lymphoma clinical trials.
- Trial Coordination: Schedule research visits, diagnostic tests, and protocol-specific laboratory testing.
- Clinical Care: Administer investigational products and monitor patients for adverse events (AEs).
- Data Integrity: Document research data accurately in Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain regulatory binders and adhere to FDA, ICH-GCP, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with principal investigators, pharmaceutical sponsors, and the hematology-oncology care team.
Required Education/Qualifications - Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
- Skills: Proficient with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and data management systems.
Preferred Qualifications - Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of oncology, hematology, or clinical research nursing experience.
- Certifications: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) designation.
