Upon successful completion of the initial 90-day training period, employees will transition to a hybrid work schedule, with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Research Coordinator III, as a certified research professional, manages and coordinates clinical trials across all phases of study execution for the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Section. Serving as a key resource for Principal Investigators, faculty, and study team members, this role oversees a diverse portfolio of research studies, including CAR T-cell therapy, gene therapy, other therapeutic treatment trials, observational studies, and registry-based research. Responsibilities include clinical trial administration, subject recruitment, data collection, scheduling study-related activities, and participant follow-up to ensure successful study conduct and participant engagement.
The Clinical Research Coordinator III assists faculty with the development and implementation of investigator-initiated studies, manages the submission and maintenance of regulatory documentation in compliance with IRB, federal, industry, and institutional requirements, and supports data quality assurance and quality control activities. The role also provides cross-coverage for other Clinical Research Coordinators, trains and mentors new staff, develops and improves clinical trial coordination procedures, and ensures the effective management, compliance, and execution of complex research protocols across the Transplant and Cellular Therapy research portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required: - 5+ year experience in clinical trial coordination with 2+ years pediatric clinical trials experience.

- Regulatory compliance experience
- Research budget, contract, and invoicing experience
Education/Licensure/Certification: Required: - Bachelor's degree or associates degree in related scientific field.
- ACRP Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or SOCRA Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). *Candidates with a medical degree are exempt from certification requirement.
Pay Scale Information $81,120.00-$108,160.00CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
