Job Summary
This non-supervisory registered nurse (RN) position reports directly to the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety. The primary responsibility of the role is oversight and guidance for the quality data submissions, including Stroke and Sepsis measures, to state and federal regulatory bodies. The Clinical Quality Manager will provide guidance, education, and data throughout the organization for performance improvement on quality metrics to enable designated clinical areas to achieve desired outcomes by continuously improving organizational processes.
Minimum Qualifications • Education
o Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, PhD, PharmD, or Public Health strongly preferred. • Experience
o Minimum of five years of clinical healthcare experience in nursing with strong current knowledge in quality and performance improvement.
o Experience with populations of stroke and sepsis patients
o Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies and techniques is strongly preferred. • Licensure and/or Certification
o Current license as a registered nurse (RN) in Massachusetts • Skills
