Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care
  • Conduct research to advance knowledge in pediatric psychology
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies
  • Offer consultation services to schools and community organizations
  • Supervise and mentor psychology interns and trainees
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with psychological assessment tools specific to children
  • Proficiency in psychological assessment and diagnostic techniques
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned
