Clinical Program Supervisor - Homeless Services
  • Salary Range: $76,565 - $107,182/year, based on relevant years of experience
  • Location: Larimer County, CO
  • Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Role Overview:

Responsible for providing active clinical leadership to mental health and substance use disorder treatment staff to ensure successful clinical service lines. Provides direct oversight of clinical providers including case managers and clinicians in the delivery of evidence-driven and integrated mental health and substance use care Works with Clinical and Operational management and staff to identify opportunities to standardize, improve, and streamline clinical services and/or workflows. Essential Duties:

  • Provide guidance, training, technical assistance, and coaching to assigned mental health and substance use disorder treatment staff to ensure and maintain clinical skills. Act as a role model providing support and removing barriers
  • Partner with clinical management to proactively identify and implement novel behavioral health treatments and/or services.
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities for clinical staff members
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to clinical staff members adhering to regulatory supervision requirements. And documentation standards, ensuring the highest competence for clinical staff and effective treatment intervention.
  • In partnership with Operational team members responsible for day-to-day on-site clinical support including crisis intervention, attending to immediate needs of staff, resolving interpersonal conflicts between clinical team members, and assisting clients as needed.
  • Perform direct clinical care for clients needing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
  • Collaborate with other staff in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical services, including cooperating effectively with clinical and non-clinical managers.
  • Contributes to the development, standardization, and implementation of evidence-based treatment protocols to promote high-quality, consistent, and effective care.
  • In partnership with clinical management evaluate staff performance for all direct reports; address performance issues, resolve conduct and ethical issues, document and communicate disciplinary action when needed.
  • Facilitate staff meetings and inter-agency meetings as required. Participate on committees, both internal and external. Demonstrate superior customer service for internal and external customers by providing information and answering questions/requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate records and reporting and compliance with county, state, and federal laws, rules and regulations regarding clinical staff, in addition to any reporting for grants/contracts assigned.
  • Review, correct and submit timesheets for clinical staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field from accredited College or University required
  • More than three years of experience in the behavioral health field required
  • More than one year of experience in a leadership role in the behavioral health field required; experience leading clinicians who treat clients with mild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders required
  • More than one year of experience developing and monitoring of service plans, treatment progress, documenting interactions, maintaining clinical records and other reporting data for adult clients with mild mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or disabilities in Larimer County required


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current Colorado professional license in appropriate discipline (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) required, with a minimum of two years of active licensure.
  • Dual licensure preferred.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required.
