Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a dynamic and growing Division of Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine.
The selected candidate will contribute to clinical care, education, research, and program development, with significant leadership opportunities, including the potential to lead the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program.
Division & Program Highlights
The Division provides comprehensive care for children with acute and chronic respiratory diseases, supported by a multidisciplinary team and strong institutional infrastructure.
• Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, research coordinators, a dietitian, and social worker
• Advanced clinical capabilities
• Flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, including interventional Pulmonary function testing

Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology care
• Participate in consult services (PICU, NICU, general pediatrics)
• Manage conditions such as cystic fibrosis, asthma, BPD, neuromuscular disease, and sleep disorders
• Flexible bronchoscopy/advanced bronchoscopy
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics
Academic & Research Opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
• MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
• Eligible for New York State licensure
