ABOUT THIS POSITION

The CDI Product Consultants at Waystar joins a seasoned Clinical team that plays an active role in implementation & delivery of the CDI product for our clients. This role interacts with client end users and managers to ensure adoption of best practices workflows while working cross-functionally with the larger Customer Success teams for successful implementation and adoption for our clients. The Consultants also ensure the complexity of our AI technology is married with the clinical perspective and needs of our clients through data analysis, auditing and providing clinical insight into the product development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Transfer knowledge of our CDI Suite of products and workflows to new and client users
• Provide client support to drive adoption of the Aware CDI product suite
• Utilize best practice processes for successful client adoption
• Actively manage the client experience to deliver on implementation milestones, manage client support requests and expectations, monitor client adoption of the CDI Suite
• Monitor client key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement for clients
• Collaborate with the larger Waystar Customer Success team to create a seamless, integrated, and consistent experience for clients and users
• Collaborate with Waystar's Education team as a clinical subject matter expert for content and delivery of educational programs that support best practices in the industry and with our products
• Collaborate with product teams as a subject matter expert to define and design the clinical elements that drive our product suite
• Provide insights from client interactions to inform future research initiatives and drive product roadmaps

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Nursing (RN) required
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in CDI role with demonstrated progressive growth in roles and responsibilities in CDI leadership
• Experience with multiple clinical documentation programs, medical record coding, healthcare billing and revenue cycle management
• Demonstrated presentation skills with various stakeholders ranging from internal partners to C-suite
• Experience presenting CDI content and information
• 5+ years of clinical experience in acute care environments, critical care or ED preferred
• Self-starter, who is extremely motivated to demonstrate success

• Ability to travel 25 - 50% to client sites and company headquarters Preferred Requirements:
• Master's degree in healthcare related field
• Experience as a CDI Consultant with a heavy emphasis on CDI program assessment and implementation strongly preferred
