Position SummaryIn a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, The Clinical Practice Specialist contributes professional and clinical nursing expertise to ensure the delivery of high quality nursing care to specific patient populations within the Valley Health System. The role of the Clinical Practice Specialist advances the profession of nursing and encompasses: Expert clinical practice Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers Consultation/Collaboration Research and Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems)
* The Clinical Practice Specialist Works with staff to influence, guide, direct and develop clinical and professional nursing skills. The role requires the setting of measurable goals and objectives within a framework of current evidence-based practice to: Assist in development of optimal treatment plans Facilitate optimal outcomes for patients and their families Ensure overall continuity of care across the health system
EducationMaster's degree required. Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey required. As of 06/01/2026 Magnet recognized national certification required.
ExperienceExperience in adult education principles preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing practice experience, primarily in area of specialty
. Labor and Delivery or Postpartum experience required.SkillsAbility to apply nursing process toward achievement of specific outcomes in an organized fashion which addresses patient/family satisfaction. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.

Pay Range: $109,595.20 - $136,988.80
The posted pay range reflects the compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE)
