JOB SUMMARYUnder general supervision and according to established polices and procedures, responsible for accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy, including general clinical pharmacy services to patients, nurses and medical staff. Participates in Pharmacotherapy Consult service, staff development and education, and targeted drug programs. Assesses the age-specific needs of patients served while monitoring patient medication use and processing medication orders. Able to perform all of the duties of a registered Pharmacist.
Qualifications- B.S. degree in Pharmacy
- Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of one year of prior hospital pharmacy experience required.
