Bed Management: Coordinating with the ER and ICU to ensure rapid patient placement.
Resource Allocation: Assigning staff based on "patient acuity" (the severity of illness).
Discharge Planning: Meeting with social workers to ensure safe, timely patient exits- with special focus on Length of Stay and documentation improvement to improve the Case Mix Index
