Description:

Position Purpose:

The Clinical Educatorworks in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Emergency Department, Short-term Observation and the float pool to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without work visa or sponsorship.

What You Will Do:

  • Employment Type/Shift: FT Days

  • Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.

  • Leads, delegates and serves as a mentor to others on the team.

  • Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professionals/students.

This posititon oversees:

  • Float Pool nurses and CNA
  • Short stay observation nurses
  • Support ED nurses and techs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; MSN or actively enrolled in MSN program.
