Position Purpose:

The Clinical Educatorworks in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Emergency Department, Short-term Observation and the float pool to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. What You Will Do:

• Employment Type/Shift: FT Days

• Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.

• Leads, delegates and serves as a mentor to others on the team.

• Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professionals/students.

This posititon oversees:

• Float Pool nurses and CNA
• Short stay observation nurses
• Support ED nurses and techs

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; MSN or actively enrolled in MSN program.

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.

• Certifications aligned with area of responsibility preferred.
