Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Director to join our team. The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Director will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the initial setup of Blue Jay ABA LLC's Clinical Processes. Including, but not limited to the responsibilities listed below. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, an ability to show initiative and a passion for improving the lives of clients through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Clinical Leadership & Oversight: Provide full oversight of all clinical operations across the organization, ensuring high-quality service delivery, strong clinical outcomes, and alignment with Blue Jay's standards of care. Serve as the primary clinical leader and decision-maker across all cases and programs.
• BCBA Management & Development: Directly oversee and support BCBAs, including caseload management, performance oversight, and ongoing professional development. Ensure BCBAs are maintaining appropriate caseload sizes, delivering high-quality supervision, and meeting all clinical and documentation expectations.
• Caseload & Utilization Management: Monitor and optimize company-wide caseload distribution, ensuring appropriate staffing, efficient utilization, and continuity of care. Track and address gaps in service delivery, supervision levels, and scheduling consistency.
• Clinical Program Development: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical programs, workflows, and treatment models. Create and refine clinical templates, systems, and protocols to support scalable, high-quality care.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Oversee all QA processes to ensure clinical excellence, audit readiness, and full compliance with BACB standards, state regulations, and payor requirements. Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Metrics & Performance Management: Establish, monitor, and drive key clinical KPIs, including supervision ratios, utilization rates, client progress, authorization success, and documentation timeliness. Hold clinical staff accountable to performance benchmarks and continuously push for improvement.
• Clinical Culture & Team Development: Build and maintain a strong, positive clinical culture aligned with Blue Jay's values. Foster engagement, accountability, and professional growth across the clinical team, while creating an environment that supports collaboration and excellence.
• Onboarding & Training: Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training programs for BCBAs, and RBTs. Ensure all clinical staff are set up for success from day one and continue to grow within the organization.
• Supervision & Mentorship: Provide high-level clinical guidance and mentorship across all levels of staff. Support complex cases, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure clinical integrity across all services.
• Hiring & Team Growth: Lead and support the recruitment and hiring of clinical staff, including BCBAs, ensuring strong talent acquisition aligned with company standards and growth goals.
• Care Coordination & Family Support: Oversee communication standards with families and ensure a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and support. Ensure clinical teams are effectively collaborating with families and other stakeholders.
• Systems & Clinical Infrastructure: Assist in selecting, implementing, and optimizing clinical software and systems to support operations, data tracking, and scalability.
• Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects: Lead new clinical initiatives, program expansions, and strategic projects as the company grows, ensuring Blue Jay remains innovative, adaptable, and positioned for long-term success.
Qualifications:
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Master's degree in psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field
A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral analysis or a related field is required.
