Most physicians spend their careers looking for disease after it announces itself. This role is the opposite.
At Biograph, every member receives in-depth diagnostics that paint a more detailed picture of health than anything available in conventional practice: advanced imaging, cardio-metabolic profiling, genetic testing, performance testing and more. Your challenge is to turn that data into a clear, individualized plan with actionable insights and then to stay with the member as it plays out over their journey.
You'll work alongside the Medical Director to deliver and continually refine the Biograph Method, see a deliberately small number of members each day and share in the clinical and administrative decisions that shape how medicine is practiced here. This is a role for a physician who wants depth over volume and is energized by practicing at the frontier of evidence-based, personalized precision medicine.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:Deliver care- Provide direct, longitudinal care to members in clinic and via telemedicine
- Synthesize each member's multi-disciplinary dataset (including advanced imaging, cardiovascular risk profiling including ApoB and Lp(a), body composition, cardiorespiratory fitness testing, genetic testing and cancer screening) into a prioritized, personalized plan.
- Interpret findings in partnership with the very best nutritionists, exercise physiologists, radiologists, cardiologists and other specialists.
- Communicate risk stratification and results clearly to a sophisticated, highly engaged membership.
- Build the kind of long-term relationship that makes adherence possible: knowing the member, their history and what will work specifically for them.
Shape the practice- Partner with the Medical Director to implement, evaluate and improve the Biograph Method, including clinical protocol development and case review.
- Share in the administrative and clinical governance work that determines the clinic's medical services: quality standards and care pathways.
- Work with the management team on strategic planning and service delivery as the San Mateo clinic grows.
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to integrate medical services into the broader membership experience.
Maintain standards- Keep accurate, detailed records in the EMR, fully compliant with current healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
- Stay current on the literature and help the team distinguish durable findings from noise.
