Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: - Acts as a working manager, providing superior leadership and excellent communication skills while demonstrating professional examples for staff to follow.
- Managing the administrative roles in the department, while also functioning as a primary liaison between patients, clinic staff, physicians, and midlevel providers to provide excellent patient care.
- Assists Director with duties such as expense management, budgeting, project management, reporting, and implementing clinic initiatives.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the following roles: front desk registration, financial counselors, scheduling, medical records.
- Work closely with clinic supervisor to support the clinic.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:
- Level I: $80,321.38 - $120,481.92 per year.
- Level II: $92,684.80 - $139,027.20 per year.
Workdays: This role is primarily located at the GI-East NE Portland location at the Gateway Medical Office Building. Coverage will be required one day per week at the GI-East Happy Valley location, situated in the Mt. Scott Professional Center Medical Plaza II. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, (7:00 am-4:00 pm).Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including: - A Bachelor's degree or relevant management experience is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of medical office experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role is strongly preferred. Clinic leadership and/or specialty care GI experience is a plus!
- Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is required. Epic experience is preferred!
- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes is preferred!
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
