Clinic Administrator (RN)
Overview: Aptive Resources, in partnership with Valor Healthcare, is hiring a Clinic Administrator (RN) to provide day-to-day administrative and operational oversight of the proposed Yreka, CA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), pending VA contract award. Note: Per VA clarification issued during solicitation 36C26126R0014 (Amendment 003, Q&A #89–90), a Clinic Manager/Administrator role is preferred but not mandated by the Performance Work Statement, and the PWS does not require the role be filled by a Registered Nurse; the Contractor is proposing this position as an RN to provide clinical oversight alongside administrative management.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm (Clinic Operating Hours); 8:00am–4:30pm Patient Schedule Hours
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational management of the clinic, ensuring services meet PWS performance and compliance requirements
- Supervise administrative and clinical support staff; coordinate staffing schedules and contingency plans to ensure continuity of care during absences, turnover, or unplanned events
- Serve as the Contractor's primary point of contact for the VA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and VA clinical leadership on day-to-day operational matters
- Monitor and report on Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) performance measures and support corrective action planning as needed
- Oversee compliance with Environment of Care (EOC) requirements, including safety, security, hazardous materials/waste, emergency preparedness, life safety, medical equipment, infection control, and utility systems
- Track and maintain documentation supporting staff licensure, credentialing, privileging, and required VA training
- Coordinate clinic supply, equipment, and facilities needs with Contractor and VA/landlord points of contact
- Support oversight of administrative workflows, including scheduling accuracy, EHR/CPRS data integrity, and patient access metrics
- Communicate the Contractor's staffing plan to the VA when patient panels approach capacity thresholds, in accordance with PCMM staffing standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license; graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited school of professional nursing
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare administration, clinic/practice management, or outpatient operations supervision
- Experience supervising administrative and/or clinical support staff in an ambulatory care or primary care setting
- Working knowledge of VA systems (e.g., CPRS, VISTA) and the PACT model of care preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to interface effectively with VA staff and Contractor leadership
- Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in California, or otherwise meet VA Qualification Standards for the position.
- Must successfully complete VA credentialing/privileging review and a background investigation (cleared through OPM via the VA Security and Investigations Center) prior to starting work; PIV credentialing required.
- Must complete required VA mandatory training and maintain current licensure/certification documentation annually.
