Full Job Description
Overview
As a Client Tax Team Leader, you will work to oversee the execution and delivery of tax related work to Fisher Investments US PCG Clients. Working in close collaboration with the Financial Planning Services group and reporting to the Vice President of Client Tax, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our team or Client Tax professionals as the support the daily needs of our PCG Clients.
The Day-to-Day:
Interview, evaluate, and recommend candidates to hire
Participate in disciplinary actions and/or terminations for direct reports, as appropriate
Mentor and train direct reports. Ensure day-to-day business support needs are being met
Manage all phases of various projects from envisioning through deployment
Manage all aspects of services delivered by Client Tax team, including detailed Tax Planning, Tax Filing and Compliance, and topical education for PCG clients
Manage the development of Tax Accountants, Sr. Tax Accountants, Tax Preparers, and other employees
Improve efficiency, quality of service delivered and scalability of the Client Tax Services
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all services and communications related to Tax Services offering are appropriate and consistent with relevant internal and external guidelines
Ensures day-to-day oversight of all relevant tax employees to ensure compliance, quality, and service standards
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
5+ years of direct tax experience preferred
Certified Public Accountant designation or equivalent preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Proficient in tax preparation software, CCH Axcess preferred
Compensation:
$140,000 - $170,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
