The roleOur Client Success Managers are the people growing advisory firms call first. You'd own a book of mid-market and growth-stage registered investment advisers (RIAs): firms that are adding advisors, acquiring practices, and leaning on their technology to keep up.
The work is relationship-led. Firms that are healthy, well-adopted, and engaged renew and grow on their own, so your attention goes to adoption, client health, and trust rather than a hard sell. Because you've worked in financial services, you'd advise on how Practifi should fit the way a firm actually runs, not just how the screens work.
You'd report to our Head of Revenue and work alongside Account Management, Implementation, Support, and Product. There's a clear path from here toward Senior and Lead Client Success roles.
What you'd own- A book of client relationships across their lifecycle, as the primary point of contact
- Semi-annual business reviews that tie a firm's use of Practifi to what it's trying to achieve
- Renewals, with a Lead or Senior Client Success Manager in your corner when a situation calls for it
- Growth inside your book that comes from adoption, not pressure
- Release readiness for your clients, before and after each release
- 45-minute training demonstrations that leave people able to do something new
- Getting complex questions to the right experts fast, and flagging firms that are outgrowing the segment for our Account Management team
Who we're hoping to meetThree to five years in client success or account management at a B2B SaaS company, owning a book with renewals attached. At least two years of that, or alongside it, in financial services: at a wealth technology or fintech company, or managing a book of RIA, broker-dealer, or wealth management clients. We're looking for directly relevant experience. You've sat on the software side of the table with financial services clients, and you know how an advisory firm makes decisions, handles compliance pressure, and grows.
You're comfortable running a training session for a client audience, and you live in your CRM. Salesforce makes the first few months easier, and so does time with an advisor CRM, portfolio management, or financial planning platform. If AI tools have changed how you manage a book, tell us what changed.
Mostly, you're the person who notices a client has gone quiet and reaches out before anyone asks. You'd rather raise a risk early than explain it late.
Pay and benefits- $85,000 to $105,000 base, plus uncapped variable compensation on renewal and expansion revenue. We publish our ranges because we'd rather have that conversation up front than dance around it later.
- Generous time off: 20 days of paid vacation, 10 sick days, 3 personal days, and 3 volunteering days annually
- Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance benefits, plus a 401(k) with company match
- A learning stipend we call Learnbucks, because we couldn't help ourselves
- A Practibuddy mentor from your first week
- Two company summits a year in Chicago
How we workGrowth, Collaboration, Transparency, Curiosity, and Integrity aren't posters on a wall here. In this role they look like telling a firm the truth about what isn't working yet, asking how a firm really operates before recommending anything, and pulling in Support or Product the moment a problem needs them instead of holding onto it. We'd rather hear about a renewal risk early than read about it in a churn report.
The role is fully remote within the US and does not provide Visa sponsorship (must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship).
If that's the kind of ownership you're looking for, we'd like to hear from you.
