Job DescriptionAs a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission-critical projects by:
- Leading and creating client engagement strategies and pursuit plan for municipal clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth and West Texas markets
- Developing new business, creating and maintaining high value relationships with clients
- Leading the strategy for client selection, client management, and pursuits in the DFW market
- Developing strategies for finding new streams of revenue and promoting technical innovations with clients
- Working effectively with Project Managers, Key Technical Specialists and other members of the CDM Smith design team regarding success project delivery
- Being active in professional societies, industry organizations, and appropriate political circles in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area
Skills & Abilities- Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
- Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design.
- Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional engineering (PE) license.
- 12 years of related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications- Business development experience at the local and regional scales in the public water and wastewater sector markets

Pay Range MinUSD $120,973.00
Pay Range MaxUSD $211,723.00
Additional Pay Range InformationCDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This pay range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels for the geographic location assigned to the position. In addition to geographic location, a candidate's salary is determined by several other factors including, but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, required certifications, and education/training.
Additional CompensationAll bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
