DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Senior Civil PE to lead and grow our Northwest Arkansas site development team. As the Site Development Lead in Northwest Arkansas, you will serve as the face of our firm in one of the fastest-growing regions in the country.
This isn't just a design role; it is a business leadership position. You will be the primary "right hand" to the firm's Principals, responsible for office operations, project scheduling, mentoring a talented team of young professionals, and driving business development (BD) to expand our footprint in the NWA market.
Annual Base Salary: $100,000 - $144,000

RequirementsKey Leadership Responsibilities- Office & Team Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the NWA office. Manage staff workloads, project scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Mentorship & Growth: Serve as a dedicated mentor to EITs and junior designers. You will be responsible for their technical development, QA/QC training, and helping them progress toward their own PE licensure.
- Business Development & Strategy: Leverage your local network to identify new opportunities. You will lead client relationships with developers, architects, and municipalities, and represent the firm at industry events and public hearings.
- Project Oversight: Act as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for a diverse portfolio of site development projects, including commercial, multi-family, and industrial developments.
- Financial Management: Assist in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and project budgeting. You will have a direct impact on the office's P&L and growth strategy.
- Technical Excellence: Maintain high standards for site grading, drainage, and utility design while navigating the specific entitlement processes of NWA municipalities (Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Springdale).
Qualifications & Requirements- Licensure: ActiveProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Arkansas (or ability to obtain via comity immediately).
- Experience: 10-15+ years in Civil Site Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or project management capacity.
- NWA Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of Northwest Arkansas drainage criteria, zoning ordinances, and the local regulatory landscape is highly preferred.
- Software: Expert-level knowledge ofAutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
- The "Owner" Mindset: A desire to lead a team, grow a brand, and eventually move into a Principal-level role.
