OverviewPosition Summary
Seeking an experienced Professional Civil / Structural/ Architectural Engineer (PE) to support High Voltage Substations, Transmission Lines, Thermal Power Plants, Green Hydrogen, Renewable Energy Facilities and Utility Projects across North America. Responsible for reviewing and certifying structures, gantries, transmission towers, foundations, monopoles, roads, drainage systems and related civil infrastructure.The engineer will serve as a technical lead and Engineer of Record (EOR), responsible for the design review, certification, and delivery of civil and structural engineering packages. The role requires managing multidisciplinary coordination, ensuring compliance with U.S. engineering codes and standards, supporting construction activities, mentoring junior engineers, and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership in the delivery and design management, ensuring alignment with client expectations, regulatory standards, and best practices.
Engage as part of large multidisciplinary teams and review design documents for consistency and coordination.
Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
Analyzing reports, specifications, and studies.
Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks, as required.
Undertaking a "digital by default" approach in deliverables.
Deliver packages of work as Engineer-of-Record with the assistance of other technical and production staff.
Provide oversight and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers undertaking technical design work on basic engineering applications and principles.
Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work as required.
Engage with clients and stakeholders in the ongoing development of major program.
Qualifications
Experience in Thermal Power, Green H2, Renewable Energy and T&D Power Projects.
Proficient in BOQ preparation and material estimation.
Strong knowledge of U.S. engineering standards, codes and regulations.
Hands-on experience with STAAD Pro, SAP2000, PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE, Civil 3D and/ or similar tools.
Strong multidisciplinary coordination with Electrical, Mechanical Instrumentation & Control and Project Engineering teams.
Review of Civil/ Structural/ Architectural Design Criteria, Engineering Calculations.
General Arrangement and Site Layout, Foundation Drawings.
Bill of Materials
Monopole Designs and Drawings & other reviews
At least 12+ years of experience working on High Voltage Substations, Transmission Lines, Thermal Power Plants, Green Hydrogen, Renewable Energy Facilities, and Utility projects.
Experience with software applications relevant to the respective industry and field of specialization.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level engineers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Confident and positive attitude; eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas.
Ability to build and harbor good working relationships with our business partners, suppliers, contractors, and clients;
Ability to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise when needed.
Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various global regions.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's (BE/ BS)/ Master’s degree(MS) in Civil/ Structural/ Architectural Engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license- Texas/ Nevada/ Louisiana/ Kentucky/ Arkansas/ Iowa is strongly preferred.
