Civil Project Manager, PE to join our Municipal team based in our Cedar Rapids office. We are looking to add a Civil Project Manager, PE who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities! In this role, you'll support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal civil engineering projects that positively impact the communities we serve.
What You Will Be Doing:- Oversee municipal engineering projects, including scope, budget, schedule and performance
- Serve as the primary client contact and support business development efforts (RFPs, proposals, presentations)
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members
- Approve and present preliminary reports and feasibility studies
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies
- Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff
- Travel to work sites and other project related locations, as necessary
What We Are Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 10+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure
- Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
- Experience with municipal business development and building strong client relationships
- Experience conducting community meetings and stakeholder communication
- Previous supervisory experience
