Civil Field Supervisor
The Opportunity
We're seeking a Civil Field Supervisor to join our team in the Okanagan, supporting civil construction projects across the region.
As a Civil Field Supervisor, you'll lead a crew on site to get daily work done safely and on time. You'll work hands-on with a skilled crew in the field, ensuring safety, and efficiency every step of the way. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, tackling big challenges, and being part of projects that shape communities.
Although we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead a civil crew to complete daily tasks safely and on time.
- Plan the day's work and assign tasks; ensure the right tools, equipment, and materials are on site.
- Monitor work quality and adherence to drawings, specs, and safety procedures.
- Communicate updates and issues to the Superintendent/Project Manager; request support as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and enforce site safety.
- Coach crew members, support training, and promote a strong safety culture.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Approximately 2-3 years' experience as a Foreman.
- Proven earthworks experience, and keen understanding of underground utilities.
- Ability to read and understand design drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership skills, and the ability to problem solve and adapt to a changing construction environment.
- Knowledge of provincial safety regulations and a strict adherence to company standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
- The ideal candidate should be based in the Okanagan region but must be willing to travel and work in various locations such as Kelowna, Revelstoke, or other project sites as needed.
- The successful candidate should be a positive, motivated, outgoing individual who enjoys working outdoors, and has a willingness to work overtime when required.

- Union hourly rate: $40.00-$45.00 per hour.
