SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking a Civil Engineer to support Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest (NAVFAC Northwest), Planning Design and Construction Directorate, Design Division (PDC4) in Silverdale, WA.
The Civil Engineer will provide civil design and technical support for new construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects throughout the NAVFAC Northwest Area of Responsibility.
What You'll Do:- Perform site layout and grading design.
- Design water and sanitary sewer systems.
- Perform stormwater calculations and drainage design.
- Develop and review civil engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Review technical reports, RFIs, designs, submittals, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with NAVFAC personnel, project stakeholders, and multidisciplinary design teams.
What You Bring:Required:- Minimum of six (6) years of Design Management and/or Design experience performing applicable civil engineering tasks.
- Demonstrated experience with site layout and grading design.
- Experience designing water and sanitary sewer systems.
- Experience performing stormwater calculations and design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to successfully complete required background and security screening.
- Four-year degree from an accredited Engineering college curriculum required.
- Minimum of six (6) years of applicable Design Management and/or Design experience required.
Preferred:- U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Civil Engineering is highly desirable.
