SEH is looking for a client-focused civil engineering project manager interested in joining our talented and growing land development team! This is an opportunity to manage and deliver complex land development projects for key clients and play a role in the rapid expansion of our presence in Virginia, North Carolina and beyond!
This Opportunity:
- Develop, coordinate, and direct land development projects for a variety of clients
- Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development of projects and after completion
- Prepare project approaches, scopes and fees required to complete projects
- Present proposals to clients, interviewing for projects, and selecting project teams
- Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with client
- This opportunity is open to candidates residing in Charlottesville, VA or surrounding areas
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering field of study
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of Virginia
- Experienced with design, construction and management of land development and/or municipal projects
- Demonstrated experience in client management; ability to lead and mentor staff
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of ten (10) years previous experience
- Previous experience managing land development projects
- Previous experience managing a staff and serving as a technical mentor for junior level staff
- Current affiliation and/or membership with local, state or national Civil Engineering societies and associations
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $130,000 and $150,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
