About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to provide both technical design leadership and serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for civil projects in the Atlanta, GA area. This role combines design leadership, engineering accountability, and project management, requiring expertise in local codes, Civil 3D proficiency, and the ability to lead and mentor engineering teams toward successful project delivery.

As a Civil Engineer, you will:

  • Lead and mentor engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR), responsible for the overall engineering integrity, compliance, and approval of civil design projects.
  • Provide design leadership, guiding engineering teams from concept through construction documents and administration.
  • Develop innovative, sustainable solutions to complex civil engineering challenges specific to the Atlanta area.
  • Direct project management responsibilities, including schedules, budgets, client communication, and resource coordination.
  • Apply deep knowledge of local Metro Atlanta building codes, permitting requirements, and regional standards to ensure project compliance.
  • Use Civil 3D proficiently to oversee and review detailed engineering designs and production workflows.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, outside consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of plans, reports, and specifications to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and quality control processes.
