The Opportunity

The Civil Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and evaluation of Civil systems and components that support Integra Mission Critical's turnkey data center development This role ensures Civil integrity, safety, and compliance across new designs and existing infrastructures, while supporting efficient production, installation, and long-term operational performance.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, construction, and project teams, the Civil Engineer applies sound engineering judgment to deliver reliable, code-compliant Civil solutions that meet performance, durability, and regulatory requirements in mission-critical environments.

What you will do?
  • Develops and designs Civil systems and components including planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining critical infrastructure components, like roads, bridges, project site utilities and systems.
  • Oversee structural, geotechnical, and environmental elements of projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and managing construction logistics to create a sustainable project delivery.
  • Collaborates with project managers, architects, and multi-discipline engineering teams to integrate Civil designs into overall project plans.
  • Reviews and approves Civil drawings, calculations, and specifications, providing technical guidance to construction teams during implementation.
  • Ensures all Civil designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing infrastructures, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigates and resolves Civil issues or non-compliance findings in a timely manner, prepares engineering reports and design documentation, and maintains accurate records of calculations, specifications, and project correspondence.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve Civil design methods, processes, and efficiency, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Other duties may be assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field required, Master's degree in a Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Additional professional certifications or specialized Civil training (plus).
  • 5• 10 years of progressive experience in Civil engineering.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or mission-critical facilities, preferred.
  • Strong foundation in Civil engineering principles, analysis, topography, and design.
  • Proven experience designing and analyzing Civil systems and components.
  • Experience supporting construction is a plus.
  • Substation design a plus
  • Knowledgeable on review and implementation of site due diligence including wetlands delineation, flood plain mapping, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and evaluate Civil components and systems in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with Civil engineering software and design tools.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and load paths.
  • Ability to interpret codes, standards, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
