Job DescriptionCoffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Civil Engineer with one (1) to three (3) years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to challenging projects for our Bay Area office. In this role, you will be a key contributor, collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team on site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management systems, and utility infrastructure. The position will involve a mix of technical design and consulting. What You'll Do:
- Contribute to civil design from permitting through project completion for diverse market sectors.
- Prepare civil engineering plans including site plans, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility plans, ADA accessibility, and other associated improvements using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Research jurisdictional codes and manuals to determine design requirements.
- Collaborate with structural, fire protection, mechanical, and electrical teams on complex projects.
Qualifications- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (Required).
- Licensing: Civil Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) required.
- Experience: 1-3 years in site development and civil design.
- Software: Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks: - Approximate Base Salary: $75k-95k based on experience.
- Straight Pay for Overtime: Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.

The position is
hybridwhere the staff are in-person three days a week (minimum) and have the option to work remotely two days a week.
The optional remote workdays of the week are currently Monday and Friday. These guidelines are reassessed periodically.
