About this Role
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our EPC team supporting power sector projects, including gas turbines, renewable energy facilities, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and transmission systems. This role is responsible for developing civil design deliverables and construction packages that are accurate, constructible, and fully integrated with other engineering disciplines.
What You'll Do
Draft civil plans, layouts, and construction documents for roads, grading, drainage, and site infrastructure
Conduct field investigations to verify design feasibility and site clearances
Assist with cost estimation, material take-offs, and preliminary design studies
Review and validate drawings produced by other designers and drafters
Collaborate closely with engineers and support construction activities throughout project execution
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and constructability
Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing
Support project schedules and ensure deliverables meet quality and client expectations
