In this role, you'll be at the forefront of geospatial and intelligence system evolution — leading integration efforts, shaping architectural and pipeline solutions, and mentoring technical teams. You will make CI/CD pipelines and automation central to how capabilities are integrated, tested, and deployed across Army environments.
As a CI/CD Senior Integrator, you will lead the design and integration of advanced geospatial and intelligence platforms. Your work will translate operational and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and automated delivery architectures that align with Army modernization and convergence efforts.
What You’ll Do:
- Guide integration strategies across multi-vendor software stacks and hardware baselines, using CI/CD pipelines as the primary mechanism for build, test, and deploy.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate:
- Build and packaging of geospatial and intelligence applications
- Execution of unit, integration, performance, and security tests
- Environment configuration, deployment, and rollback
- Engage directly with Army stakeholders to refine system requirements, track dependencies, and drive alignment across multiple Army organizations, ensuring pipelines reflect operational needs and accreditation constraints.
- Provide technical leadership across full system lifecycles — from concept to operational deployment — ensuring rigorous engineering discipline, repeatable deployments, and mission continuity.
- Develop integration test strategies and embed them into CI/CD pipelines; manage system validation efforts and oversee performance tuning and issue resolution for both imagery and geospatial software baselines.
- Lead integration efforts and manage complex issues in real time, driving improvements in pipeline reliability, observability, and interoperability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as technical lead for Army systems integration initiatives and geospatial software baselines, with a strong emphasis on pipeline-driven delivery.
- Develop system-level architecture views, data flow diagrams, and pipeline flow designs describing how code, configurations, and artifacts move from development through test to production.
- Lead the generation of integration artifacts including:
- Test plans and automated test suites
- Conformance matrices
- Cross-domain interface documentation
- CI/CD pipeline configuration and runbooks
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar, including:
- Build stages
- Automated test and security scan stages
- Deployment and post-deploy verification stages
- Interface with senior DoD stakeholders to provide updates, recommendations, and roadmap alignment, including:
- Pipeline maturity
- Release cadence
- Risk and compliance posture
- Provide expertise in Army’s Gold Master baselines and guide transition planning for new software versions, ensuring pipelines enforce baseline integrity and configuration control.
- Apply advanced scripting and automation (especially PowerShell) to:
- Orchestrate CI/CD pipeline steps
- Automate configuration management, patching, and baselining
- Integrate with APIs, repositories, test tools, and monitoring systems
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Years of Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in systems administrator, engineering, and 10+ years of experience in systems administration, engineering, and integration supporting large-scale system sustainability.
