Benefits package for full-time employees at The Joint Chiropractic - Chattanooga:- Beginning base hourly rate for a DC currently holding a license in TN: $35/hr (or equivalent base salary)
- Full-time is usually 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day, which is about 38-40 hours per week.
- Bonus at this location (volume based) paid bi-weekly: +/- $10,000 to $20,000/yr (This depends on the clinic volume and the DC's ability to gain the patient's commitment to their treatment plan.)
- Flexible hours (several DCs available to swap and cover shifts)
- Company paid malpractice insurance (value range $1,000-$1600/yr)
- Paid Time Off (Full-time employees average 40 hrs of PTO accrued per year during 1st yr. (value equivalent to +/- $1,500). It goes up to 60 hrs of PTO accrued per year after the 1st yr.)
- Full-time employees are also eligible to participate in the company medical plan, where the company pays a portion of the annual premium (value equivalent to +/- $1,200.
- Holidays: Employees will be paid for the following seven (7.5) holidays IF they fall on your scheduled work day:

With the base rate, bonus and benefits, this is an $80,000 to $100,000/yr position depending on bonus levels, but the bonuses do generally increase as the clinics grow.
Responsibilities:- Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
- Evaluate patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
- Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
- Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
- Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
- Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
- Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
- Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:- 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
- Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
- A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
- Valid DC license in the applicable state
- Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
