Butler Hospital seeks a full time child/adolescent neuropsychologist to conduct both psychological and neuropsychological assessments on an inpatient (50%) and outpatient (50%) basis. Referral questions include, but are not limited to, neurodevelopmental disorders, psychiatric disorders, and neurological disorders. Assessment support is typically available for some of the cases through a technician or student. The successful candidate should be comfortable working within the medical and outpatient communities and be able to collaborate with our clinic director and administrative team. The ideal candidate has competence with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations, expertise in child/adolescent neuropsychological assessment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a keen interest in training graduate-level and post-graduate level students.
- Candidates must have a PhD or PsyD
- 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology required
- 2+ years of neuropsychology experience (after fellowship) preferred
- Board certification or board certification eligible preferred
- May be eligible for a faculty appointment through the Alpert Medical School of Brown University
