PAY RANGE: $250k-$450k/yr + Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLELexitas is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development and execution of our technology product strategy. This executive leadership role will drive innovation across our legal support services organization by overseeing the design, development, and enhancement of technology products that improve client experiences and business performance.
As CTO, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology ecosystem, identifying emerging trends, evaluating new opportunities, and ensuring our product roadmap aligns with both organizational goals and client needs. You will lead our Research & Development department, foster a culture of innovation and excellence, and serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on technology strategy, investments, and growth initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the development and execution of the organization's overall technology product strategy and vision.
- Oversee the design, development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of technology products and platforms.
- Identify and implement innovative technology solutions that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Anticipate emerging technology trends and integrate relevant advancements into the product development roadmap.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors, consultants, and external partners.
- Ensure technology products comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
- Evaluate product performance, user adoption, and business impact to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technology and product development teams.
- Represent Lexitas at industry conferences, technology forums, and networking events.
- Develop and manage technology product budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost-effective operations.
- Oversee financial planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, and ROI evaluations.
- Monitor expenditures against budget targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure technology investments align with organizational financial goals and long-term growth objectives.
- Communicate technology strategy, product roadmaps, and business value effectively to executives, board members, and stakeholders.
- Champion data security, cybersecurity best practices, privacy compliance, and risk management initiatives.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure technology and product success. - Implement rigorous quality assurance processes that ensure high-performing, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field required.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in information technology, software development, technology products, or SaaS environments. - Proven experience serving as a CTO, VP of Technology, Head of Product & Technology, or similar executive leadership role.
- Demonstrated success leading technology product development from concept through launch and commercialization.
- Broad knowledge of modern technologies, software architecture, cloud platforms, data management, and emerging technology trends.
- Proven track record managing technology budgets, resources, and strategic investments.
- Experience developing and executing technology strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated success driving product performance, innovation, and revenue growth through technology.
- Excellent organizational, project management, communication, multitasking, and leadership skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position manages the Research & Development department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
