Full Job Description
Adams Homes is seeking an experienced Chief Pilot to lead our Part 91 corporate flight operation based in Pensacola, Florida (KPNS).

The Chief Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our King Air 350 while overseeing pilot training, compliance, maintenance coordination, scheduling, and operational standards.

Responsibilities
Flight Operations
  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command of company-operated King Air 350 aircraft.
  • Conduct all flight operations in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies.
  • Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
  • Complete flight planning, proper pre-flight inspection, trip documentation, and operational records accurately.
  • Coordinate passenger travel needs and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Must be able to work varying hours, including day and night; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Flight Department Leadership
  • Manage day-to-day flight department operations.
  • Oversee pilot scheduling, training, standardization, and performance.
  • Maintain flight department manuals, records, maintenance status of the aircraft, and operating procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for flight operations matters.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance providers to ensure aircraft readiness and airworthiness.
  • Identify operational issues before they become problems and continuously improve flight department procedures.
Qualifications and Certifications
