THE LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY Are You a Proven Business Operator Who Knows How to Lead Leaders and Deliver Results?
We are seeking an experienced executive who can bring these businesses together through effective leadership, clear direction, and consistent execution while helping shape the next chapter of HTM Group's growth.
This pivotal role requires an exceptional Chief Operating Officer / Integrator to lead our operations, develop our leadership team, strengthen profitability, and help scale our businesses.
Ideal candidates will be proven operators who have successfully led managers, owned financial results, improved operational performance, and built teams that consistently deliver.
You do not need to come from construction.
This is not a traditional office management position.
If you have successfully led a trucking or logistics company, distribution operation, manufacturing facility, multi-location retail business, industrial service company, or similar operation, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time, in-person executive leadership position requiring regular visits to job sites and operating facilities.
The COO is expected to be consistently available during normal business hours, with reasonable flexibility and additional hours as business needs require.
KEY LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and hold Company and Division Managers accountable.
- Drive profitability, productivity, and operating performance.
- Develop strong leaders and high-performing teams.
- Execute company goals and quarterly priorities.
- Oversee multiple business operations and shared resources.
- Improve systems, processes, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Solve complex business challenges and eliminate recurring problems.
- Work directly with ownership to turn vision into execution.
THE LEADER WE'RE LOOKING FOR You are a proven operations executive who:
- Has successfully managed managers and multiple operating departments.
- Understands P&L, budgets, margins, cash flow, and cost control.
- Has delivered measurable improvements in business performance.
- Is confident making decisions and addressing underperformance.
- Leads through accountability, delegation, and clear expectations.
- Thinks strategically but knows how to execute.
- Builds simple systems that produce consistent results.
- Stays calm under pressure and takes ownership of outcomes.
RELEVANT LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE Experience in roles such as:
- Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Regional Operations Director
- Vice President of Operations
- Multi-Location Operations Leader
EOS experience is a plus but not required. We can teach EOS.
