Full Job Description
What You\'ll Do
Here\'s how you\'ll help us bring our mission to life and show up as a Trusted Partner:
- Enable Executive Leadership Effectiveness: Serve as a strategic operating partner to the CEO and force multiplier for the ELT. Strengthen alignment, decision-making, and accountability by proactively identifying unresolved disagreements, superficial alignment, competing priorities, and unhealthy departmental friction. Help the ELT operate as one cohesive leadership team focused on enterprise success.
- Drive Operating Discipline and Execution: Own the executive operating cadence, including QBRs, ELT meetings, OKRs, KPIs, and strategic planning. Translate priorities into clear decisions, accountable owners, measurable outcomes, and consistent follow-through. Synthesize financial and operating performance into actionable insights that help leaders anticipate risks and make better decisions.
- Connect Strategy Across the Enterprise: Partner with executives to advance critical initiatives, including annual planning, margin improvement, strategic partnerships, and organizational design. Identify upstream and downstream impacts, cross-functional dependencies, and unintended consequences of decisions. Remove barriers, resolve competing priorities, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business results.
- Facilitate Organizational Change: Help the CEO and ELT navigate organizational complexity and change by identifying execution risks, organizational resistance, communication gaps, and unclear accountability. Partner with leaders to align stakeholders, support adoption, and sustain business performance through transitions.
- Support CEO, Board, and Investor Effectiveness: Coordinate board and investor preparation, partnering with Finance and executives to deliver accurate financial analyses, clear strategic narratives, and decision-ready materials. Draft executive communications, support leadership offsites and company-wide updates, and lead urgent cross-functional issues or special projects requiring discretion, judgment, and rapid execution.
How Success is Measured
Here\'s how we\'ll know you\'re making an impact and raising the bar:
- ELT Effectiveness: Executive meetings and QBRs consistently produce clear decisions, ownership, and follow-through, with critical commitments delivered on time.
- Strategic Execution: Company OKRs and priority initiatives have measurable outcomes and accountable owners.
- Enterprise Alignment: Cross-functional dependencies, competing priorities, and organizational friction are identified and addressed proactively, improving collaboration and reducing preventable execution delays.
- Organizational Change: Strategic and organizational changes are implemented with clear leadership alignment, effective communication, and measurable adoption and business outcomes.
- Executive and Board Readiness: Board and investor materials are delivered on time with accurate, reconciled financial information and clear recommendations. The CEO and ELT consistently view the Chief of Staff as a trusted partner who improves leadership effectiveness and organizational execution.
What You Bring
Your unique talents are what make you shine. For this role, success looks like:
- Strategic and Operating Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate strategy, strategic finance, or high-impact operating roles.
