The Role
We're looking for a force-multiplier - someone who sits at the intersection of Chief of Staff and Business Operations and makes the entire team more effective. This role doesn't fit neatly into a job description because the work won't either. You'll own high-priority initiatives, drive operational rigor, and serve as a trusted thought partner to firm leadership and founders.
The defining requirement: you must be genuinely AI-native. Not AI-curious - AI-proficient. You deploy AI tools daily to do the work of multiple people, identify where AI can unlock leverage across the firm, and help us build a culture where that's the norm, not the exception.
What You'll Do
• Serve as a strategic partner across the firm - managing priorities, preparing for key meetings, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Lead cross-functional projects that cut across investing, portfolio support, marketing, incubations, and finance
• Build internal AI-powered processes to own the operating cadence: team rhythms, firm-wide communications, and follow-through on key decisions.
• Identify and implement AI tools and workflows that meaningfully increase the team's leverage and output quality.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and design solutions before they become problems.
• Stay at the frontier of what's possible and bring those capabilities to the firm before we know we need them.
What We're Looking For
• 5-7 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or a high-growth startup in a strategy or operations role
• Demonstrably AI-native: you use AI tools as a core part of your daily workflow and can show your work.
• Exceptional written and verbal communicator - you can distill complex ideas crisply and confidently
• A builder's mindset: you don't wait for systems to exist, you create them.
• High emotional intelligence and the judgment to navigate conversations across the organization, as well as with founders, LPs, and partners.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity - this role will evolve and you'll help define it.
• Low ego, high ownership. You're equally comfortable setting the strategy and executing the details as part of a small team
Nice to Have
• Prior experience in venture capital or working directly with a GP or founder.
• A Marketer's mindset We are a Marketing-leaning firm that thinks and works creatively.
