Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will serve clients in fractional, interim, and project-based roles. You will provide strategic leadership, financial planning and analysis, risk management, and financial decision support. The CFO is a full-time role, eligible for benefits.
Key responsibilities, in support of your clients, will include:
Financial Planning and Analysis - Including the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans that support the organization's growth and profitability.
Cash Flow Management and Cost Management - Forecasting and analysis, along with implementation of strategies to optimize cash management, while minimizing risk.
Financial Decision Support - Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making.
Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications We understand that each person brings a unique set of skills. The following qualifications are indicative of the backgrounds we seek:
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience with non-profit organizations or mid-sized businesses is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA and/or CPA preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Experience that includes both public accounting and privately held or nonprofit employment.
- Expertise in planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data to support informed decision making.
- Ability to think strategically and develop financial strategies that support overall business goals and objectives while mitigating risk.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with leaders and stakeholders across an organization.
COMPENSATIONCompensation is based on client billing. Current Warren Whitney professionals who serve as CFOs range in compensation from $160,000 to $240,000. The firm offers a competitive benefits package to full-time employees.
