Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and drive the financial strategy, performance, and growth of our manufacturing organization. The CFO will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk management, and financial reporting while partnering closely with operational leaders to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
- CPA required.
- 10-15 years of CFO experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Food manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial leadership.
- NetSuite ERP experience required.
- Proven leadership, strategic planning, and business partnership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute the organization's strategic and financial objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Lead long-term financial planning and capital allocation strategies.
- Evaluate growth opportunities, investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Direct all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance processes.
Manufacturing Finance
- Oversee financial operations within a manufacturing environment, including cost accounting, inventory management, labor analysis, and margin optimization.
- Partner with operations leadership to improve plant performance, productivity, and operational efficiencies.
- Analyze product costing, production variances, inventory valuation, and supply chain financial performance.
- Drive initiatives to improve profitability and reduce operational costs.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain risk management strategies to protect company assets and financial stability.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Provide executive oversight of financial systems and reporting technologies.
- Leverage NetSuite ERP to improve financial visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices across financial functions.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and partner effectively with leaders across the organization.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience
