Soaring Aerospace Inc. (SAI) is an aerospace and defense technology company designing and manufacturing autonomous UAV systems for commercial applications and mission-critical defense logistics. Operating at the intersection of aerodynamics, propulsion, embedded systems, and autonomy, SAI partners with government agencies, defense organizations, and strategic customers to deploy advanced autonomous aircraft in high-reliability environments.
The Chief Executive Officer will report directly to the Board of Directors and lead SAI’s strategy, commercialization, growth, and execution. The ideal candidate is a proven executive with strong commercial instincts, sound judgment, high integrity, and the ability to drive revenue, build strategic relationships, attract capital, communicate effectively with board members, and lead a high-performance organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Corporate Growth
- Execute the company’s strategic vision, growth plans, and long-term objectives in alignment with shareholder interests
- Lead commercialization of the company’s UAV platform across commercial, government, public safety, logistics, and defense markets
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, strategic initiatives, partnerships, and business models that increase revenue and enterprise value
- Lead corporate planning and ensure the organization is aligned around near-term milestones and long-term objectives
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to align execution with growth objectives, shareholder interests, and long-term value creation
Board & Stakeholder Reporting
- Report directly to the Board of Directors and maintain clear, consistent communication with board members, Surlamer Investments, company members, and other key stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver board presentations, operating reports, financial updates, and strategic recommendations
- Provide regular updates on company performance, commercialization progress, capital needs, strategic priorities, risks, and key milestones
- Support informed decision-making by providing timely, accurate, and well-organized reporting to the Board and company members
Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Own and drive the company’s revenue growth strategy, including sales, partnerships, contracts, and market expansion
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of commercial and government opportunities
- Lead strategic capture efforts for high-value opportunities and oversee customer engagement throughout the business development lifecycle
- Negotiate and execute strategic partnerships, teaming agreements, channel relationships, and commercial contracts
- Represent the company in customer meetings, executive briefings, demonstrations, conferences, and industry events
Organizational Leadership
- Foster a culture of accountability, execution, innovation, and operational excellence
- Build the organizational structure, processes, and performance metrics needed to support rapid growth
- Ensure effective coordination across engineering, operations, manufacturing, finance, and commercial functions
- Recruit, retain, and develop top talent across the organization
Corporate Representation
- Serve as the public face of the company with customers, investors, government agencies, partners, media, and industry stakeholders
- Promote the company’s mission, technology, and market position to strengthen brand awareness and credibility
- Support other strategic and operational initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
Required
- 10+ years of executive leadership experience as CEO, President, COO, General Manager, or equivalent senior leadership role
- Demonstrated success scaling technology-driven businesses from product development into commercial growth
- Proven experience driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships
- Experience raising institutional capital and managing investor relationships
- Strong understanding of financial management, corporate strategy, and operational execution
- Exceptional communication, leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
- Experience in aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, robotics, aviation, logistics, or advanced technology
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
- Technical knowledge of air vehicle systems preferred
- Experience selling to government agencies, defense customers, or regulated industries
- Experience leading venture-backed or high-growth technology companies
- Familiarity with government contracting, procurement, and federal funding programs
- Track record of leading organizations through significant growth, strategic transactions, or successful exits

- $300,000 annual base salary
