Chief Data Officer - Data & AI Governance - Remote - USA

The Position We're looking to hire a Chief Data Officer - Data & AI Governance to join our team. You'll work with our incredible clients in one of two ways: • Team Augmentation: You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers daily. • Design & Build: You will work on a FullStack product team to build and deliver a product to our clients. What We Are Looking For • 10+ years of professional experience in data, analytics, or technology roles. • 5+ years of leadership experience scaling cross-functional data engineering, analytics, and governance teams. • Has established and enforced enterprise data governance, data classification, and regulatory compliance frameworks in a production environment. • Has designed and executed an enterprise data architecture strategy across cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Track record of building data policy and governance frameworks specifically for AI tools and data classification methods. • Proven experience representing data strategy and reporting directly to executive leadership and Boards of Directors. • Has worked within the mortgage or financial services industry to enforce regulatory compliance and privacy standards. • Advanced English is required. • Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required. • Forensic attention to detail. • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude. • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams. • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems. • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
