About the RoleThe Change Management Specialist supports data center operations by creating and managing technical procedures and ensuring all changes are clearly communicated and properly documented.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain technical procedures (MOPs, SOPs, EOPs)
- Work with engineers and operations teams to document processes and changes
- Ensure all changes are tracked in ticketing/CMMS systems
- Communicate change updates to clients and internal teams
- Support continuous improvement of processes and documentation
- Maintain and update procedures throughout their lifecycle
Required Qualifications- Experience working in a data center or critical facilities environment
- Basic understanding of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), including power and cooling infrastructure
- Experience creating or maintaining technical procedures (SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, or similar documentation)
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, accurate technical documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams regarding change activities
- Proficiency with standard tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with change management or change control processes in operations environments
- Familiarity with ticketing or CMMS systems (e.g., EnCompass, ServiceNow, UpKeep)
- Experience working with critical infrastructure systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, cooling systems)
- Experience in data center operations, facilities, or engineering environments
Physical Requirements- Ability to work in a data center environment, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and access equipment in elevated areas
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and outdoor conditions
- Good manual dexterity and vision to safely work around equipment and follow safety protocols
- Valid driver's license, as required
Compensation & Benefits DisclosureThe hourly rate for this role is $44.00 per hour]. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location.
