Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a highly qualified litigation associate with four (4) to six (6) years of experience to join its growing, Chambers-ranked, Chancery litigation practice in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have Delaware Chancery Court experience, with exposure to matters involving shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims and other governance issues. Experience with commercial litigation and/or securities litigation is a plus. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and strong academic credentials are required. Our Litigation Department represents a wide range of regional, national and international clients in all types of complex litigation and regularly represents clients as lead counsel in Delaware's Chancery, Superior, and Supreme Court, and in Delaware District Court. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a national law firm with a collegial environment focused on attorney development. Active bar license in Delaware is required.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is from $250,000 - $305,000, which reflects the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
In addition to the salary for this position, lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit-sharing bonus program.
