Job Summary and Qualifications

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is STRIC's chief steward of financial strategy, performance, and risk. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO leads enterprise financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, tax return coordination, revenue cycle and payer strategy, capital planning and treasury, enterprise risk management, and financial systems/data. The CFO partners with clinical and operational leaders across STRIC's 23 imaging sites to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and exceptional patient and physician experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Enterprise Leadership
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team; co-lead enterprise strategy, annual operating plans, and multi-year cashflow projections.
• Provide actionable insights on service line and site performance, guide decisions on market expansion, modality mix, pricing, and capacity planning.
• Prepare and deliver materials to the Joint Policy Board; communicate performance, risks, and opportunities with clarity.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Own enterprise FP&A including forecasting, budgeting, rolling outlooks, and long-range planning.
• Develop driver-based models linking volumes, capacity, and payer mix to revenue and margin.
• Standardize analytics and dashboards (e.g., per-site profitability, modality contribution, unit costs, productivity).

3. Accounting, Reporting & Audit
• Oversee CAO function and ensure integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Shorten close cycles and strengthen reconciliations and internal controls.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings for STRIC and related entities; implement sustainable corrective actions from findings.

4. Revenue Cycle & Payer Strategy
• Lead end-to-end revenue cycle (patient access, coding, billing, denials, collections) to achieve best-in-class performance and patient experience.
• Own managed care/payer contracting strategy; analyze payer mix and contract performance; negotiate value-driven agreements.
• Implement root-cause analytics for underpayments, denials, and bad debt; drive cross-functional policy and process improvements.

5. Treasury, Capital Planning & Investments
• Direct capital allocation and portfolio management, including ROI/NPV analysis for imaging equipment, IT, site expansions, and new services.
• Manage liquidity, cash forecasting, and banking relationships; optimize working capital and debt structure.
• Establish disciplined business-case standards and post-investment reviews.
What qualifications you will need:

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA strongly preferred; MBA/MHA preferred.

Experience
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, including multi-site healthcare or outpatient services experience.
• Demonstrated success leading revenue cycle and payer contracting strategies.
• Proven track record in FP&A, GAAP reporting, audit, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP/EPM modernization and analytics; data-driven operations.
