Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides safe, high-quality,

independent, patient-centered anesthesia care across the critical access hospital setting. The CRNA

independently evaluates patients, develops and implements individualized anesthesia plans, administers and

manages anesthesia, and provides comprehensive perioperative care in collaboration with surgeons,

physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.

This position offers the opportunity to practice broad-scope anesthesia in a community hospital environment,

caring for a diverse patient population and supporting a wide range of surgical, procedural, emergency, and

diagnostic services. The CRNA is expected to exercise sound clinical judgment, respond effectively to urgent

and emergent situations, and contribute to the hospital's commitment to accessible, high-quality rural

healthcare.

GENERAL DUTIES:
• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each

scheduled day.
• Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Demonstrate ability to provide independent anesthesia care with strong clinical judgement,

adaptability, communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to function effectively and independently in a critical access/rural hospital environment.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain relevant histories, assess risk, and develop

individualized anesthesia plans.
• Independently administer and manage general, regional, neuraxial, and monitored anesthesia

care as appropriate to patient needs and clinical setting.
• Provide perioperative management, including airway management, hemodynamic monitoring,

pain management, emergence, and post-anesthesia care.
• Provide anesthesia services for scheduled and emergent procedures within the scope of hospital

services.
• Support emergency surgical care as required.
• Recognize and independently manage anesthesia-related complications and participate in

resuscitation and emergency response.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

while maintaining appropriate clinical autonomy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and comply with applicable regulatory,

credentialing, and quality standards.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, education, and other activities that support

the hospital and community.
• Maintain professional competence and remain current with evidence-based anesthesia practice.

$275k plus $10K Sign-on Bonus
Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 5 pm
