Now Hiring for: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Salary Range: $50.00 -$65.00 an hour (depending on experience)
As an
Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA), you will:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed occupational therapists.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment.
- Observe and document patients' progress, reporting back to the occupational therapist.
- Educate patients and families about adaptive techniques and strategies.
- Ensure that patients' safety and well-being are prioritized in daily activities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Must Have:
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for the state.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with patients and their families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting (a plus but not required).
- Experience in acute care and working in a home environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and therapy documentation is a plus.
- Experience with KanTime EMR is a plus.
