This role is a
full-time, permanent position working a rotating weekday schedule consisting of two weeks of days, two weeks of afternoons, and two weeks of nights (graveyard shift), with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
As a Certified Millwright, your responsibilities will include:- Working with a high-performance team dedicated to maintaining all mill machinery, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings, and pneumatic systems involved in the manufacturing process.
- Keeping our systems running smoothly by performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance, which involves inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Effectively managing your time while assessing when to assemble, move, replace, or dismantle machinery.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing safe, reliable repairs to improve equipment reliability and maintain production.
- Identifying and requesting appropriate parts to support timely maintenance and repairs.
- Assisting in creating a safe work environment for coworkers, contractors, customers, and site visitors.
For this role, we are looking for candidates who:- Hold a valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certification.
- Have completed secondary school and training courses or a vocational program
- Have completed 3- to 4-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over five years of work experience and industry courses in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment or millwrighting
- Have the physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate a high degree of urgency and strong problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation- Hourly Rate: $50.55 per hour
