Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (overtime paid after 44 hours/week). Pay is $55/hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have a bachelor's degree in the field of ceramic arts (or in related engineering discipline). Minimum work experience is 3 years hands-on experience.

Job Description Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
• Develop ceramic materials and the processes for making ceramic materials into useful products
• Conduct studies on the properties and characteristics of materials and design, develop and specify processes for forming, casting, molding, jiggering and jollying, glazing and thermal treatment of ceramics and other raw materials
• Conduct chemical and physical analytical studies and recommend formulations for ceramic glazes and bodies in order to obtain the desired characteristics
• Produce ceramic bodies and clays suitable for different applications such as sculpture, pottery wheel and other artistic purposes
• Coordinate production testing and analyzing machinery-related data
• Supervise technologists, technicians and other engineers and scientists
