CDS Supervisor

The CDS Supervisor is responsible for the implementation and improvement of the clinical documentation improvement program at the facility and supervises clinical documentation specialists (CDS). Ensures CDS perform their designated tasks synergistically with other concerned departments and personnel. Work closely with the Director of CDI/Data Quality, CDS Manager and/or Supervisor of Health Information Department, and Director/ Supervisor of Case Management to be instrumental in supplementing assistance to these departmental functions pertaining to clinical documentation.  CDS Supervisor will work closely with the medical staff to formulate strategies to improve the quality of clinical documentation. Other responsibilities included as designated by the reporting team.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
