Position: Catering Executive Chef
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Manage culinary personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities
-Purchase food and supplies from vendors approved by the company and monitor inventory
-Select and develop recipes
-Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
-Establish presentation technique and quality standards
-Plan and price menus
-Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance as well as proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
-Stay current on industry trends as well as identify new culinary techniques and presentation
-Assist kitchen staff with food prep
Qualifications:
-6+ years experience in an executive culinary role
-Culinary degree preferred
-Demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant trends
-Must possess culinary creativity
-Comfortable providing guidance and supervision to kitchen staff

Salary Range (NY only): $80,000 - $100,000 per year
